As a manufacturer of LED workstation luminaires, we have been producing our products in Germany for decades. Every workpiece is manually checked by us at our facility in Bielefeld. Frequently asked questions.

We offer LED luminaires in all protection classes. This also includes 24V LED luminaires with, which fall into protection class III and are thus supplied with protective extra-low voltage. The supply voltage is thus so low that there is no danger from it. 24V LED machine luminaires are used, for example, when working with water.

Our LED luminaires are used in a wide variety of machine tools. These include CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, CNC grinding machines or in CNC machining centres. Flying chips, the use of coolants and lubricants in the vicinity of the LED machine luminaire are the norm. We have the right solutions for you for precisely such requirements.

For packaging machines, the requirements for luminaires are generally lower than for workplaces where high heat and water are used. Protection against dust, for example, is often sufficient. This also has an impact on the price. Here we have specific and cheaper products in the range such as the ELN and SLN solutions.

Machines in the food industry need to be cleaned frequently. The machine luminaires must be protected accordingly. This is recorded in the protection class in the second code number. This concerns protection against ingress of splashes, drips, sprays and jets of water as well as submersion. Thus, we are happy to offer you LED machine luminaires with protection class IP69K as a solution.

The term machine lamp is often used as a synonym. But a lamp is only the illuminant. The luminaire is the overall construction. This also includes an LED machine lamp.

Three advantages of LED technology in our machine luminaires.


Long performance

LED industrial luminaires have a very long service life. If the light intensity falls below 70 percent, the service life is considered to have expired. In 3-shift operation over five days per week, we guarantee a luminosity of over 70 % for 9.6 years. One reason for the long durability is our design: We work with aluminium core circuit boards. They conduct the heat into the environment via the luminaire housing. As a result, heat generation is significantly lower, which has a positive effect on durability.

Good colour rendering

For illumination at the workplace, you need good colour rendering and a uniform colour temperature. This prevents fatigue at the workstation. Our LED industrial luminaires reach a value of more than 80 percent in the colour fidelity index. The diodes are clustered in a CIE standard colour system, known as binning.



Flexible dimming

Many models of our LED industrial luminaires have an eco mode. This dims the illumination and emits 30 percent of the luminous flux from normal operation. Machine workstations can therefore be designed to be even more ergonomic. When the interior is entered, the light emits its full brightness. When the interior of the machine is in use, it is only discreetly lit. This ensures optimum machine lighting at all times.

Wind Energy

We`ve got the hang of it.


Renewable energy production is becoming increasingly important, especially wind turbines. With a hub height of 60 meters and 1.5 megawatts of power, wind turbines that were originally considered to be enormous are now standard and built worldwide using German technology. In order for the turbines to work perfectly as well as cost-effectively, the optimum balance between torque and speed must be found. For this, it is necessary to be able to adjust the rotor blades. It’s not enough to turn the head of the turbine into or out of the wind. In case of high wind speeds, rotor blade adjustment is an additional way to apply the brakes effectively and an important safety aspect.


All three rotor blades must always be aligned synchronously, because excessive forces can otherwise act on a single blade. This means the rotor blade adjustment must have a central control system that is also guaranteed to function even in case of power failure. To make the task even more difficult, the hub is only accessible from the outside. On the shaft of the rotor, only a few contacts are available on the slip ring for establishing a connection. A control system via the hub and accommodation of rotor blade technology in the nacelle are therefore not possible. On-site installation in the hub is not practical and economical due to the height and difficult accessibility.


The entire rotor blade adjustment system is supplied with electrical power just through the slip rings, so only a few contacts of the slip ring are necessary. A central control box coordinates the rotor blade positions, which are each adjusted by their own drive control. This includes a battery pack to maintain control capability in case of power failure. Everything is modular and ready to plug in. All connections are pre-tested on a specially designed test station with contact force monitoring, eliminating errors and ensuring fast commissioning.

The central control module connects the individual drive controls with a single connector kit in each case. These align the rotor blade with a servomotor. The pre-fabricated installation can be quickly incorporated into the hub on the ground. Supply, signals and bus are consolidated in a single robust plug connector. The rotor blade is completely installed electrically in no time.
